I fulfilled a rain check on an offer to watch a family members kids recently.  It just so happened that it was on Cass’s birthday. I woke up the other morning with my dad on my mind.  My dad passed away when I was 21 and it occurred to me that morning waking up that sometime this year I will have been without my dad as long as I had him. I was barely awake and had instant tears.

I know very little about a group of protesters that were planning to come to my local Stockyards to “bare witness” to the livestock being sold at the next sale day.
